This week try to spend a few minutes thinking about the things God has done for you in the past. Thank Him and be ready to receive more from Him.

This week, no matter what you are going through, spend some time thinking about this quote from Tim Keller, ‘Christ literally walked in our shoes.’ Jesus understands you better than you understand yourself because He suffered more abuse, more pain and more cruelty when He was here on earth than we ever will.

This week remember to ‘Run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith’ (Hebrews 12:1,2). This is especially true when the going gets tough!

Did you know that you are part of a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God? Well, you do now and that should really make you want to declare the praises of Him who called you (1 Peter 2:9).

Since love is in the air this weekend at ABC, let’s are abe reminded to, ‘Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever’ Psalm 118:1)
