This week my Bible reading reminded my that we need to make time to stop and simply remember the goodness and faithfulness of God in our lives. It is so easy to forget what an amazing God we have.

Welcome
Thank you for joining us for what is becoming our new way of ‘doing’ church. I hope that the online service offered here will truly bless you, and that after this virus has passed, you will be able to join us as we resume our normal services and activities. In spite of what is going on at the moment, this is a time for personal growth and getting closer to God, and so my prayer is that you and your family will know him and his great peace, in all things. God bless you. Simon.

‘“In that day you will say: “I will praise you, LORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my defence; he has become my salvation. With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.’” Isaiah 12v1-3
This week please pray for a fresh release of God’s Holy Spirit upon ABC.
“Father, please pour out your Spirit and bring revival to your church at Aldwick, to the local community and to each one of your family here at ABC.”
Thank you for joining us for what is an unusual way of “doing” church. We trust that the online service offered here will truly bless you, and that after this virus has passed, you will be able to join us as we resume our normal services and activities. In spite of what is going on at the moment, this is a time for personal growth and getting closer to God, and so our prayer is that you and your family will know Him and His great peace, in all things. This is our second week in our new Wednesday series which this time will be led by Clive who is one of our members who is supporting Simon in delivering this series of studies.
Living Lord Jesus please take me as you find me with all my fears and failures and fill my life again. I give my life to follow everything that I believe in and now surrender. Shine your light and let the whole world see that I’m living for the glory of the risen king. AMEN
Here’s a thought – Why not ask God to give you an opportunity to share the Gospel with someone new this week? Pray for it. Prepare for it. Go for it!

‘They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.’
Revelation 12v11
Welcome to our midweek worship service. This is now the 11th week of lockdown and, like me, I’m sure you are all missing meeting together to worship God. Listening to our politicians, it sounds like this situation will be continuing for several weeks yet, so we ask you to join us online twice a week to share God’s word and worship the Lord by singing along with the worship songs. The good news is that God knows you heart and He gladly accepts your worship wherever you are.
Finally, brothers, rejoice. Aim for restoration, comfort one another, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11

This weekend we will be celebrating Pentecost when the promised Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ while they were in Jerusalem celebrating the Feast of Weeks. Why not ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit right now and give you the power to tell others the wonderful news of the Gospel?
