Just how would you describe Jesus? Charles Spurgeon summed it up very well when he said, “Jesus is the God whom we adore, the all-sufficient merit of His atonement is our song, and the never-ceasing faithfulness of His love is our confidence.”
Here’s a powerful quote by D.L. Moody on serving others: “The measure of a man is not how many servants he has, but how many men he serves.” May we be encouraged this week to follow Christ’s example of humble service, loving and serving one another in His name!

Here’s an inspiring quote by D.L. Moody:
“The love of God is like the ocean: you can see its beginning, but not its end.”
Let this truth remind us this weekend that God’s love is infinite, unchanging, and available to all who will receive it.
D L Moody once said, “The world is a wrecked vessel. God has given me a lifeboat and said to me, ‘Moody, save all you can.'” Pray that we can be inspired by this quote to take our responsibilities to love the lost very seriously indeed.

This week Simon will be speaking on ‘The Face of God’. I think C. H. Spurgeon would have approved as he once said ‘A smile from God is better than all the world’s applause.‘
